party 'till the clock strikes 4:30, am

wow... that was a fun, yet exhausting birthday party.
I'm turning 15 in ten days, so I had a party to celebrate. It was a sleep-over with a bunch of the girls from church (who are around my age. If I had everyone come, it'd be crazy!) and let's just say we had too much mountain dew.

The party started like this: people were dropped off (some were late (cough Lauren cough)) and we hung out in my room for a while with the music on mp3 shuffle. We went swimming, ate pizza, played ping pong, jumped on the trampoline, etc and then I opened the gifts. I ended up getting a bunch of spongebob stuff (caitlin told everyone that I like spongebob, so now I'm like his own fan club w/ a bunch of paraphanalia of his) , 2 pillows, a magazine subscription, a hat, a belt, and a bunch of bath stuff. Oh yeah... and a "fish glo light" from my dad.
After we did all of that stuff, we went outside with 8 party poppers and screamed and got confetti all over the street. Then Anna, Caitlin, and a bunch of other people started skipping down the street, dancing around the tree in my front yard (dont ask me!!) and doing other generally wierd stuff.
So after a while my mom told us to come inside (because there were 2 guys out there that were talking to us and yeah you know my mom) so we went out back and listened to toby mac for a while. We all got our sleeping bags onto the trampoline and talked. We played "I never" with mountain dew (if you haven't seen lost you probably wouldn't know), Truth or Dare, and just talked a lot about a bunch of stuff.
We stayed up until 4:30. Not completely my fault. Lauren was having a side ache episode right next to me and I was tightly crushed between her and Naomi, so I couldn't move.
Finally we fell asleep.
Two hours later, we woke up. After "mustachifying" anna, caitlin, and lauren, we ate, hung out, went swimming, watched a cinderella storry with Chad Michael Murray (who for the record ties for worlds hottest with "boone" (aka the hot guy) from lost . They are both soooooooooooo sooooooooooooooooooo soooooooo hot!!). Later we watched "Ever After" and then everyone left.
I slept from three to seven at what point I was so rudely awakened and forced to clean stuff.

The party is over! It was fun, but I am sooo tired!!! And there is so much junk here that people forgot.... I don't know what to do with it all.
I have to go... we're watching some movie. (me and the fam., of course. No one else is here!).

paint and a concert

Hey... thanks everyone for telling me to do the cealing green and all that... my dad thought it was gonna look wierd/ another word that also means wierd. So anyway, thanks to you guys I did black pink and green, despite my parents' misgivings. So far it actually looks prtti cool, which is good.
All I have is the green cealing and the 2 black walls, but hey, I like it. Tomorrow we'll see how it looks w/ hot pink... for now I get to sleep on the couch AGAIN (which was so unconfortable that I ended up with one blanket in the middle of the floor. To tell you the truth, it was nicer than sleeping on the couch. Which is kinda wierd since it's a new couch).

Onto a different note: does anyone (besides me and Anna) think it'd be cool if we (as in the youth group; who else reads this anyway?) went to some concert festival?? As you can guess, I think it would be a blast and we'd have a great time being responsible and not getting into any kind of trouble (had to put that in case Mike reads it). Remember the Kutless concert? (like anyone could forget it!). Ask anyone who went- that was a total blast. (Plus, no one got seriously injured in the mosh pit). But anyway, back to the topic @ hand... image that concert only like 50 zillion times better! We have to go!!!!
So, now that I have written a few sentances about it, do you think you'd want us (as in the youth group, once again) to got to something like that?? If you do, you should tell Mike where you want to go so we can all convince him.
Ideas: Spirit West Coast, Joshua Fest, Something in Washington (state, not DC, for the less perceptive readers of this blog) that Anna told me about but I forgot what it was but it sounded like it was really awesome ( better than swc, for an indication). Also there's this other place Mike said he wanted to go to but I forgot what it was called and where it was. (Not very helpful, I know. You don't have to tell me (unless you really want to for some wierd reason)).

Anyway, if you want to go... you know.

Pink, Black, and Green?

Hey everyone. I just got back from San Diego today and I have a pretty bad cold. I'm totally congested. (only if I said that out loud, it would sound like: "Ib totally codgested.").
I might be painting my room this week (black, hot pink, and neon green (not sure about the green yet)). Two walls are going to be black and two are going to be hot pink.
What do you guys think?? Should I make the cealing green or not? (It would match my rug and it would be pretty interesting). My mom says it'll look wierd (all because she has never seen a room painted that way), my cousin says it'll look really cool (cause her friend did her's like that), and I don't know what anyone else thinks. I kinda want to do it green... that's what I'm probably gonna do, but I'm not totally sure yet.
Also Lauren's mom is having her baby shower here on Sat., so that is something we need to plan for. Mom says that the house "absolutely cannot smell like paint at the shower," so I will have to make sure it doesn't. I wouldn't want to mess it all up!
I want to paint as soon as possible so I won't get in trouble for stinking up the house... we'll see when I am allowed to do it. I think we are spackling tommorow.
Ok... I guess I will end this post so it won't be too borring! Love you all!

pointless blogs like mine

If you think about it, sometimes blogging is sort of pointless.
You write the facts
But you never let out your feelings
Because someone might find out.

Just a thought.

Maybe I'll put a poem on this blog sometime.
For now I'll be posting dumb stuff that no one really feels like reading.

So why do they read it??

wanna mosh?

I'm at my aunt's house in san diego!! (Haha! You guys are all frying in redding while we are swimming in la jolla shores!!). (sorry!). We've been here since Saturday night.

Thursday:

Via Tiny Car That's Way Too Small, we drove to Santa Cruz. There we met Kurt, my cuz who's in college. We ate cheap mexican food that was better than the expensive stuff in Redding, went to the tide pools, walked along the shoreline and played "hearts." Timmy lost, Kurt won, Dad got 2nd and i got 3rd.

Friday:

we got up bright an early, got ready, said "bye" to Kurt, and hit the road. We went to McDonalds (ewwww it's sooo bad for you and i hate eating there!!) and then drove the rest of the way to Spirit West Coast, in monteray. We met up with the Barrets at the main stage, and then me, Brianne, Jake, Dylan, and Timmy left to check out everything else. We saw a bunch of bands. I'll list them in the order of when we saw them:
(*= really good concert)
Telocast
*Tree 63
MuteMath
Shortbread (for like 2 mn cause we missed almost all of it)
*Superchick
*Toby Mac
*Newsboys
Matthew West (for like 15 mn on the way out)

It was really fun. My favs were Superchick & Toby Mac. The lead singer of Superchick had her hair about my length, it was bleached white, she had bangs, and she also had a mohawk! It was awesome!! I wish I was allowed to get hair like that!!! !!! !!!
The Newsboys concert was also fun. It was late, @ the main stage, and we were in the front. I had sooo much captain crunch on me afterward! In my hair, shoes, shirt, jean pockets etc. Plus the ground was covered in cereal dust!!!
After we said "bye" to the Barrets we went to get cds. I got TFK's new one (the art of breaking which is more like heavy metal than the old one) and Lifehouse. Timmy got a tobyMac t shirt, and I can't remember what Billy got. We then watched part of the Matthew West concert and left. We stayed at a motel that night.

Saturday:

We slept in 'till 11 (too early for me!) and hit the road. We stopped at KFC (more unhealthy food!!) , ate, and got back in the car. We drove (and drove and drove) and then we stopped at a beach. It was really cold and foggy. Somehow, Timmy and Billy got all the way into the water. I got in up to my ankles and froze! It was freeeeezing!!!
We got back in the car and stopped at some Danish town that my dad went to when he was a kid or something like that. Anyway it was really borring and there were a lot of snobs and wineries there. I would not recomend stopping there to anyone that I liked even a little bit.
We then drove some more until we stopped at LA and ate something. I can't remeber what it was, though. Got back in the car.
Got to San Diego. Watched the first 1/2 of "Pay it Forward." Fell asleep.

Sunday:

I slept in 'till 2pm. (they made me get up). Ate cereal and hung out there for a while. Later we went to the pool and relaxed there. We came home, ate dinner, sat in the spa/hot tub and watched the rest of "Pay it Forward."

Monday: Got up at 10am. Ate cereal and got ready for the beach. We went to the beach in my aunt's car. It was really fun! Timmy surfed for 1 hour ( i guess he actually stood up on the board!) and then we wnt boogie boarding for like 2 more hours. Then we got in without the boards an just had fun. after a while we showered and left. When we got home we ate, sat in the spa/hot tub and then me and my aunt went shopping. I bought a jacket, some shirts, a skirt that I am never going t0 be allowed to wear to school, and a pink bikini (my aunts idea!). Oh yeah, and board shorts. My mom has been wanting me to get some, but I can never find any that fit! The ones I got are brown and they are knee length (yg style!).
My aunt bought a bunch of clothes, too. She's fifty and she looks 30 and she shops in the juniors section and all of the clothes look really good on her! Can you believe that???
When we got home Timmy and I watched dumb and dumber. It's a really funny movie. The guys are just soooooooooooooo stupid... wow. They are complete idiots. It was hillarious, even though I've already seen it 4 times before!

Tuesday (today):

Got up at 11am. My mom and dad left for LA early in the morning ( dad's college class + date ), so my aunt was watching us.
We went to mini golf. It was pretty fun. Billy & Timmy liked it a lot more than I did. but I still enjoyed myself. We went on a bunch of rides, golfed, and hung out in the arcade for about 45 mn.
Then we went to my uncle's sisters house. They live in the "countryish" area of San Diego. Their daughter Katie (funny, huh?) and I went horseback riding. They really should hire a trainer or something... the horses were hard to controll... and I've been ridding for 3 years! The horse I rode was black and he was somewhere around 15hh. We rode for like 45 minutes and then came back for Timmy & Billy. Since she had the smaller horse, I let Katie take billy and i took timmy. It was really fun, and timmy really liked it. He could be a really good rider if he wanted to. He's too athletic!!! It is sooo not fair! Lol!
We came home, I had oj and cereal, we went in the spa/ hot tub and then went to bed. (well everyone else did! I'm still up, and it's 1 am!!!).

I'll keep posting stuff about out trip! See you all a week from sunday!
