On the Road Again

Hey everyone! I just got back from Portland, Oregon. (We went to the church camp for 1 day before we went to Oregan).
It was a pretty fun trip. On the first day we got to Sikiyou and hung out at the group site. (this involved hanging out in the tent, eating, going to the arcade even though the machine wouldn't take my $, playing games and also passing stuff around on plastic spoons. (Hey, we were bored!!!). Then I went back to the tent. Me, Lynda, and Hannah stayed up untill three and ate cookies.
The next day I got up & ate breakfast. (eggs, melon, oarnge juice, and something else that I can't remember right now). We talked for a while and then me and my dad went to Castle Craigs with Jake, Ariana, Caleb Cox, and Heide Cox. It was a tough hike for me. Jake and Caleb were running the whole time... I have no idea how they did it.
Once we got to the top it was all worth it. There was a bunch of giant rocks, a really cool view, and best of all... FOOD!! I was soooo hungry I could have eaten a five coarse meal!
The way sown was easy. (Well, I did sort of fall twice because I was wearing converse instead of hiking type shoes, but other that that...).
On the way back to camp we listened to Relient K and Thousand Foot Krutch. (if you are still reading this, you are very patient).
Back at camp, I went to the lake and hung out there 'till it was time to go... grabbed all of my stuff and hit the backseat.
We then went to Portland. (The reason we went was to see Josh get married. We've known his family since my mom was in high school, and we hang out every winter @ New Years.). We stayed in his Condo with other visiting people before the wedding.
The wedding was fun. (I mean how much fun can a wedding really be? It's the reception that I was actually reffering to). It was outside and there was food and dancing and all of that good stuff.
The next few days we all hung out w/ Josh's family. We went to downtown portland and the ocean. It was kinda stressful because their family was all there.
We left on Monday and sat in the car for seven hours. ( read between the lines... the drive was kinda like most drives driven with timmy in the middle seat).
Got home, fell asleep at 1:30 am, woke up the next day at 12:30 pm.
Now you know!

It's a small world. 7 kids ran into me today.

It's thursday... the hardest day yet for the 2-4 year olds @ vbs. Even the good kids were freaking out today!!! They now officially can't concentrait on: bubbles, play dough, colloring, crafts, or stories. All that they are all willing to do is to play and watch movies!!! (Oh yeah, and scream and yell at eachother while fighting over the trains that we brought so that they would have something fun to do).
So yeah, as you can see it's getting crazier and crazier every day. When I started on tuesday, Weston was the only one who didn't cooperate. (He's the kid that kept "petting" the animals). The next day, (yesterday) Kiely cried the whole time. Apparently, she wanted mommy. It was kinda like this: "I WANT MY MOMMY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Today was the worst. Weston was worse than usual. Today "petting" the antolope involved pulling it's leg off of the stand and laughing about it until I grabbed him and tried to make him sit down. (I use the word "tried" because my efforts were pretty much in vain! He didn't stay seated for more than a minute!).
Jossia was also freaking out... all morning running away from everyone and yelling "turn it off" when the song came on!!! He has a giant bruise on his leg, and another one on his eye. I can see how he got them!!! He's so rough... when he's around the other kids start throwing cars at him!
Then there was Mathew. He's like the sweetest little kid, but today he wouldn't do anything... He screamed if we made him do anything that didn't involve toys!!!
So as you can see, I'm pretty tired!!! I'm glad I'm not going to san francisco tomorrow, because I am worn out as it is! Instead I'm seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Chelsea & Elyse (and a bunch of other people) and just hanging out... oh yeah... and I'm doing vbs again.
Tomorrow we're doing water games... I hope it keeps the kids busy, because frankly, I'm out of ideas!!!!!
